About Dr. David Mruz
Dr. David H. Mruz has been a practicing chiropractor in Greenville, SC, for more than 38 years, helping people in pain from Greenville and throughout the Upstate of South Carolina. He is one of only a few Greenville chiropractors maintaining an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
Dr. Mruz grew up in the small town of Miller Place on the north shore of Long Island, NY. Originally pursuing a career in dentistry, his path changed after a car accident left him with debilitating neck pain and headaches. Despite receiving medical treatment, his symptoms persisted until a college classmate suggested chiropractic care. Within a few weeks, Dr. Mruz experienced significant relief, inspiring him to pursue chiropractic as a career he could truly be passionate about.
After completing his undergraduate education in New York, Dr. Mruz earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Sherman College of Chiropractic in September 1980.
He has served two terms on the South Carolina Board of Chiropractic Examiners. First appointed by Governor Carroll Campbell, he served from 1988 to 1992 and was chairman of the board from 1991 to 1992. More recently, he completed a second four-year term after an appointment by Governor Nikki Haley in 2012.
