David Pabst's Primary Supervising Physician is Thomas Snead. I'm David. I was born and raised in Newberry. I am a physician assistant and the owner of the practice. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Chemistry. I went on to complete a post-baccalaureate Associate of Science degree in Emergency Medical Services and served Columbia and Bradford county as an EMT and Paramedic until 2021. I attended the University of South Florida Physician Assistant Program from 2021 through 2023 and obtained Physician Assistant licensure in May of 2023. I began working in the emergency department at AdventHealth Ocala with a group of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. As Newberry continued to expand rapidly during this time, I noticed that the need for walk-in and primary care services continued to increase. I took it upon myself to fill that void and provide a better quality of care through a direct primary care model. I still work in the emergency department occasionally, but I aim to provide thorough, personalized care through this clinic. Additionally, I have participated with and helped develop THRIVE Newberry (The Healthy Resource Initiative Voicing Empathy). This City of Newberry sponsored organization aims to provide assistance to families in need focusing on health and overall wellness.
