About David Pabst
David Pabst's Primary Supervising Physician is Thomas Snead.
I'm David. I was born and raised in Newberry. I am a physician assistant and the owner of the practice. I graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor's in Chemistry. I went on to complete a post-baccalaureate Associate of Science degree in Emergency Medical Services and served Columbia and Bradford county as an EMT and Paramedic until 2021. I attended the University of South Florida Physician Assistant Program from 2021 through 2023 and obtained Physician Assistant licensure in May of 2023. I began working in the emergency department at AdventHealth Ocala with a group of physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners. As Newberry continued to expand rapidly during this time, I noticed that the need for walk-in and primary care services continued to increase. I took it upon myself to fill that void and provide a better quality of care through a direct primary care model. I still work in the emergency department occasionally, but I aim to provide thorough, personalized care through this clinic. Additionally, I have participated with and helped develop THRIVE Newberry (The Healthy Resource Initiative Voicing Empathy). This City of Newberry sponsored organization aims to provide assistance to families in need focusing on health and overall wellness.

David and his team have been wonderful. I have been a patient as a weigh loss program member and for medical reasons. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and his team is so kind and welcoming! They are quick to accommodate, and very convenient. Even with Insurance, i still chose to go to him for my urgent care needs. He was able to have my antibiotics through their office, and see me at an amazing price!! Look no further! David provides the best care!

I was very please that he spent time with me and listened to m concerns. It is nice to have a doctor listen and not feel rushed. It is also a pleasure not driving into Gainesville and having someone close to my home. He is available to answer the phone and take care of any issues I may have. I highly recommend him.

Walking into the door there was a smile, David was able to get my daughter in right away and the bedside manners blew me away. She felt comfortable from the time she walked in which is a huge deal! The building is clean, and the staff they are great they are very personable here. It’s not a 30 minute drive for an appointment we don’t feel heard. I will recommend Pabst Personal care to everyone! Also, the wait was almost none which is great too! We will be back!
