About Dr. David Pico
Dr. David Pico has been a chiropractor since 1993 and opened his private practice in New York City in 1995. He is an honors graduate of Life Chiropractic College in Georgia where he had the privilege of studying under and training with several of the profession’s top doctors. This unique clinical experience, combined with a complete understanding of the principles upon which make chiropractic a unique healing art such as homeostasis and the role of an optimum functioning nervous system in health, have given Dr. Pico the ability to help patients at the highest level.
His compassion, warmth and commitment to patient results has gained him professional acclaim through the celebrities, athletes and Broadway stars who seek his care.
Dr. Pico is a member of the New York Chiropractic Council, the International Chiropractors Association and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. He is also Webster Technique Certified.
The son of educators, his father was an elementary school principal for thirty five years. Upon his passing, his school was renamed in his honor – The Pico Elementary School in Belleville, NJ. Dr. Pico has made a personal commitment to continue his family tradition through his chosen profession and gives his time and expertise to children with great passion and enthusiasm. He is actively engaged in ongoing health education programs for children such as Straighten Up America, Backpack Safety America, Chiropractic Career Days and as a guest speaker on health and wellness related topics in grades K-12.
