About Dr. David Shapiro
Dr. David Shapiro is a native Long Islander. He completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and received his Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University in Missouri. He is a certified Primary Spine Care Practitioner who has been serving his community for over 25 years. Since 1991, he has been relieving Long Islanders' pain and helping them recover from various injuries, including motor vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, and sports-related injuries. As a certified personal trainer with personal experience in endurance athletics and weight training, he understands your personal goals and will help you in any way possible to reach your maximum potential.

My first visit was great! The doctor was kind, understanding and knowledgeable. I am in a lot of pain due to an accident and although I didn’t leave pain free, I left feeling confident that he will get my lower back feeling normal again. I look forward to more visits and I definitely recommend him!

I see Dr Shapiro 2-3x a week. He has such a positive energy, always sees me with a smile on his face and listens to all my concerns earnestly and works with me from there. I always recommend him for chiropractic, and bonus is the office also offers massage, trigger injections, and acupuncture. Staff is friendly and environment is clean and welcoming. When we move, my family and I will travel to see him! Highly recommend.

I have had back and neck problems for many years and have been treated my many doctors. Dr. Shapiro is very supportive and caring and his treatments relieve my pain. His appointments are on time and he provides a comforting atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Shapiro.

Dr. Shapiro is the best chiropractor I’ve ever seen, and I have seen quite a few. He has an excellent bedside manner and is a great listener. He’s gentle with his adjustments and goes the extra mile doing things like stretching when needed. I would highly recommend Dr. Shapiro to anyone looking for a professional and highly skilled chiropractor.
