About Dr. David Spinner
Dr. David Spinner is the new Director of Pain Management at White Plains Hospital. He is double board-certified, specializing in interventional spinal care and musculoskeletal care. He was one of the first physicians in the country to become certified in diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasonography, which uses a small probe to translate sound waves from a patient’s soft tissue and bone into real-time images – providing a clearer, more precise picture of exactly what is causing pain. He also published the first textbook on ultrasound guided musculoskeletal injections, and is an expert in peripheral nerve stimulation. Prior to joining White Plains Hospital, Dr. Spinner served dual roles as the medical director at Westchester Pain Management and as the director of pain management for the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Performance at Mount Sinai Hospital. He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, with his postgraduate work including an internship at Maimonides Medical Center, a residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and a fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. In addition to being published in such peer-reviewed journals as Pain Medicine and Pain Practice, Dr. Spinner was the lead editor of Atlas of Ultrasound Guided Musculoskeletal Injections, the first textbook on that topic.

This is the first time I’ve written a review on the internet; but I was so disturbed and disheartened by this man- Dr. Spinner, that I feel some responsibility to warn others and suggest not waste to their time. He spent maybe 3 minutes w me, all of which he disregarded my serious and chronic ailments and did not attempt to find my most recent mris or X-rays. He was rude and made me feel more hopeless about my condition. I had to squeeze in my final question in the hallway. A couple days later my injury became greatly aggravated and I am now in bed rest. He didn’t tell me what was wrong or advice how to care for it. Now I am in more pain but would never contact such a careless and callus person again. I hope this helps anyone who is looking for help to know he’s a dead end.
