About Dr. Dawn Queen
Dawn Queen, MD is originally from Cupertino, CA but has called New York City home for the past decade. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Columbia University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. During her time there, she was honored to become a member of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa honor society, recognizing her outstanding academic achievements and dedication. She then completed her medical school education at Columbia University of Physicians & Surgeons where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Queen completed her dermatology residency training at Columbia University Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in her final year. Currently, she is advanced fellowship trained in medical hair loss and surgical hair restoration. Her focuses in practice include medical dermatology, men's and women's hair loss, and cosmetic dermatology. She is committed to providing the highest quality care to her patients, combining her extensive training with her warmness and approachability.

While the wait time was a bit long (about 30 minutes to see the doctor, on top of 10-15 minutes of filling out paperwork when I arrived early), when she did see me I felt like my concerns were taken very seriously (moreso than at another dermatologist's office that I had visited previously), and she did not give the impression of wanting to rush through our appointment, which I greatly appreciated. The office also seems to insist on using its own partner pharmacy instead of sending prescriptions to my normal pharmacy (despite asking me to fill out my preferred pharmacy in their intake forms), which was not really what I wanted but wound up working out okay in the end.

We started a treatment plan tailored to my skin goals, and I left feeling informed and genuinely excited about the process. I’m really looking forward to continuing my treatments and seeing my progress with her. Additionally, the entire staff I interfaced with today was very kind. 10/10 experience.

Dr. Queen was highly professional, during the examination I brought a couple of other problems I was experiencing and was able to address them right away. Previously I had brought some of these concerns to other doctors, and it was quickly dismissed as "nothing that we can do". Not Dr. Dawn, right then and then I got a procedure done with no inconveniences. Would definitely come back next time.
