The doctor never showed up! It took 15 calls to the office to convince the receptionist to contact him about what was going on, and even then it took several attempts to reach him. Only then did he cancel the appointment! The receptionist then talked circles around my questions and never fully answered my concerns. Absolutely shocked by this experience.

I've had two appointments with Dr. Parmelee so far, and they've both been very positive experiences. I've struggled with the decision to reach out to a professional for about 2 years due to excessive worrying about how things will go. I felt at complete ease with this doctor though, and was able to comfortably open up about my challenges and what I need help with. Like others have said, he's very kind and empathetic, and I felt he had my best interests in heart.

Dr. Parmelee was kind, empathetic, and repeatedly showed genuine concern. He acted not like an authority figure looking down his nose and wagging his finger at me (which I've experienced more than once), but like a new friend. More so than any doctor I think I've ever met. Can't recommend enough.

Dr Parmalee is one of the best doctors I have ever met, (and I have ran through plenty during my years of living.) He is very understanding and a great listener. He is patient, polite and easy to talk to. He makes you feel comfortable talking about personal issues. He doesnt judge negatively and seems like he is sincerely passionate with helping those of us with mental challenges get better. I highly recommend him if you want a genuine doctor, which is hard to find in this field of work.
