Philosophy of care Communication is key to my philosophy of care. I always want to make sure my patients understand their diagnosis, their options for treatment, and what the final treatment plan will be. I find this important so I know my patients are leaving my office with a full understanding of their urologic issues. Why I entered medicine I loved science and math growing up. I had the opportunity to shadow physician assistants and I loved every aspect of medicine they participated in. I thoroughly enjoy helping people. I am very hands-on, and being able to participate in surgery is a great outlet for me to do this. Education and training I earned my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Drexel University, which provided me with a strong foundation to deliver compassionate and skilled care. Community involvement I grew up in the Lehigh Valley, and I am so pleased to be able to give back to the community. I participated in Habitat for Humanity and other fundraising events while in physician assistant school. I found these to be very rewarding experiences. Personal interests I enjoy playing sports because I grew up with them. I also love to run. It’s not only good for your health but a great stress reliever. I love to spend time with family and friends, and I always try to find time to read and listen to music.
