Because we accept insurance, we can reduce out-of-pocket expenses and still offer high-quality care. You may not have any cost related to your visit with us, depending upon your insurance plan. Most patients pay a small copay per visit, subject to any deductible or coinsurance that your health plan has. The Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services determines appropriate billing guidelines. These guidelines depend on the length of the visit and the complexity and severity of your diagnosis. For this reason, we need to wait until after the visit for the final determination. We then submit the claim to your insurance company. The charges are calculated based upon pre-negotiated prices with your insurance company. Your insurance company will then determine what amount, if any, is your responsibility per your insurance plan.

We had an excellent experience with Dr. Edelman. She has a warm and welcoming presence and put us at ease. She was thorough in her questions and follow-up questions - it was clear she was listening actively and highly skilled. We felt she was perceptive and understood the issues that brought us to her. We also appreciated that she considered other medical issues and their interaction with mental health. She shared a range of options that we could pursue, both medication and supportive strategies, and explained the way the medications work. She did not rush us and answered all our questions. We highly recommend Dr. Edelman.
