“10/10 experience. Dr. Martinez did amazing with my 3 toddlers. The office and the staff was very comforting to my autistic 3 year old son. (Huge plus for me!) I don’t usually write reviews, but I need to tell everyone how great this first time visit went for my family! 3 toddlers is a whirlwind wherever we go and this office and the staff handled my children with care and the communication was *chefs kiss*. Everyone was so nice and genuine.”

About Dr. Deborah Martinez

In 2019, board-certified pediatrician Deborah Martinez, MD, FAAP, earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology and psychology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque in 2014. She then completed her medical degree at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth in Houston, Texas, where she also completed her residency in 2023. Dr. Martinez served as pediatric chief resident in her final year of residency. Having witnessed her youngest sister spend two months in the hospital due to prematurity, Dr. Martinez was inspired to become a pediatrician to help families facing similar challenges. She cares for infants, children, and adolescents, addressing a wide array of conditions from common illnesses like colds and ear infections to chronic issues such as ADHD and allergies. In addition to proactively managing developmental milestones, vaccinations, and behavioral concerns, she provides guidance and practical, beneficial insights on growth, nutrition, and preventive care. Dr. Martinez joined Kelsey-Seybold in August 2023. Dr. Martinez is a member of the Texas Medical Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics. During her downtime, Dr. Martinez loves exploring new playgrounds and restaurants with her family. She also enjoys reading, whipping up delicious baked treats, and indulging in some binge-worthy TV shows.
