This was a check-up from a previous facial dermatitis. Given a clear bill of skin-health. The meds I use have cleared up my problem entirely. Dr. Youhn is so very personable & pleasant. This is a huge improvement over the Dermatologist office I used before (that did not clear up my skin). Thanks.

Due to the high volume of patient appointments, our office has a 24-hour cancellation policy. This can be done via email, text message response or phone call to the office. Failure to cancel within the allotted time frame will result in a fee as a no-show appointment or same day cancellation.
Dr. Youhn is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and has lived and practiced dermatology in Chicago, IL, Portland, OR, and Philadelphia, PA before relocating to the Birmingham community.
She received her bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry from California State University. She completed her medical training and received her doctorate of medicine from Chicago Medical School in 1998. Dr. Youhn also has a master of science in pathology and was a research fellow in the department of cell biology and anatomy at Chicago Medical School.
She completed her internship at Northwestern University’s affiliated hospital Evanston Northwestern Hospital. She completed her residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, where she was elected Chief Resident during her final year.
Dr. Youhn practices general medical dermatology with a focus on the diagnosis and prevention of skin cancer and the treatment of cancerous, precancerous and benign lesions. She also focuses on acne, eczema, dermatitis, warts, rosacea and other general dermatologic conditions.
