Debra Grossano, MS, RD, CDCES earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Rutgers College, Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and her Master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition from New York University in New York City. She completed a rigorous dietetic internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Debra has clinical nutrition experience in a hospital setting, including specialized work in dialysis and renal nutrition. She later transitioned to private practice and has been in private practice since 2003, providing individualized, evidence-based nutrition counseling. In 2007, Debra founded Riverfront Nutrition Associates, following her work in private practice in New York City. She works closely with clients using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems, helping them interpret glucose patterns and understand how food, exercise, stress, and medications affect blood sugar, and translating this data into practical, sustainable strategies.
