About Dr. Deepanshu Garg
Dr. Garg is an active member of the local medical community and has been commended for his commitment to providing quality care. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in India. Dr. Garg completed his residency in Internal Medicine at both the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He also earned an MBA in Healthcare from George Washington University. From 2007 to 2009, Dr. Garg served as Program Director of the In-Patient Physician/Hospitalist Program at West Valley Hospital.
He is the current Chairman of Medicine at West Valley Hospital and serves on the Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Garg has been recognized on numerous occasions for clinical excellence and quality improvement efforts. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.

The doctor was late only 10 minutes and that was due to unusual conditions with another patient . The doctor was quite good at explaining the various test results and what they meant.
My only complaint is with some of the staff, because they do not follow up with me if they have a problem completing my request for a medication refill. As a result, I must follow up with them to see that it is done.

My visit was short, although expected since I went in for an annual physical. He seemed knowledgeable and was very professional. His staff were niece and helpful in ensuring I follow up on the doctors instructions for the next visit. He recommended lab work and I'll be seeing him in about two weeks. Will repost at that time.

i went in to inform my doctor of negative medication side effects. Waited for 30 minutes, when in the patient room doctor came in for less than 5 minutes, basically ignored what I had to stay, told me to buy over the counter vitamins and come back in a year. I will not be returning to the doctor.

Overall very easy scheduling, very little wait time, and seemed to be very complete with checking everything out. This was my first visit to Dr. Garg and the ease of his office made the experience great!

Doctor is very attentive to you, when we are explaining the ssymptoms, he is looking at the patient Not the Computer.
We waited less than 10 minutes to see the doctor.

Although he's quick, he's very thorough and quite knowledgeable. Ive seen a lot of mds that sound like they're reading you a medical book and don't really "know." Dr Garg definitely knew his stuff. He listed off potential problems with my condition, how to treat it, and what to look out for.

He is a very nice, compassionate man and doctor. He talked with me about the medications and did a couple of routine tests for all new patients, filled my Rx's and gave me a referral that I needed. All in less than 30 minutes. Very Nice!
