“First and foremost this office has great communication skills! They helped me through the check in process! Once I arrived I only waited about 15 minutes to be attended and the lady in the front office was super nice! Once I was taken in, I got to sit down with the medical assistant as she gathered all my information before I met with the doctor! She was super nice! Dr.Best came in and listened to all of my concerns and worries and checked everything and found a way to treat me! She is very knowledgeable and attentive! I have never had a doctor who actually talked to me like I was a person!”

About Deidra Best
Deidra Best seeks to understand patients and treat their needs with exceptional and compassionate care. Her goal is to provide high quality comprehensive healthcare services while making the healthcare experience personalized, convenient, and pleasant. She is uniquely qualified to support individuals of all ages with extensive clinical experience and proven strengths in acute patient care and patient advocacy.
Deidra brings a wide range of advanced assessment experience to the Nacogdoches Health Partners team. Past positions include treating patients in family medicine, women’s health, urgent care, and emergency care settings.
A proud Lumberjack that has lived in Nacogdoches for the past 26 years, Deidra earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Stephen F. Austin State University. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Tyler.
She holds State of Texas licenses as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and a Registered Nurse. She is certified in Family Medicine by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board. Her BLS, PALS and ACLS are current with the American Heart Association. She is on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners for DOT exams.
In her free time, Deidra enjoys exercising, being outdoors, reading a good book, and spending time with family and friends.
We require the new patient intake to be completed at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. If this is not complete, your appointment will be rescheduled. Please note, if you have an HMO insurance, you are required to assign the physician you are scheduled with on your insurance.
