About Deirdre Lehn
Ms. Deirdre Lehn is a certified midwife at NYPMG Brooklyn - Park Slope Midwives in Far Rockaway and Brooklyn, NY. She welcomes women needing pregnancy care and routine gynecological services.
Ms. Lehn has been practicing since 2018. Her first career was as a union organizer, but after the birth of her first child, she felt called to change paths and become a midwife. She completed her education at Yale and SUNY Downstate Medical Center. She is also certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board.

I would describe my experience as very poor. After I had already booked the appointment and was on my way there, just one hour before the appointment, I received a call on my cell phone from someone named Nancy, who told me that my appointment was scheduled for 30 minutes but that the doctor would need 45 minutes to see me, and that I would therefore have to reschedule or cancel it.
I decided to cancel because I find this to be a ridiculous excuse and extremely unprofessional. I do not feel comfortable trusting people who handle appointments in such an unprofessional way. So no one saw me because one hour before they said it wouldn’t be today.

Amazing! She was so through, Informative answered my questions and gave me awesome information. She answered questions I had before I even asked them, the provider was very intuitive. I was nervous and she was patient, welcoming and nice. 10/10 would recommend!

As a very needle phobic first time mother, I couldn’t be happier with how my first prenatal appointment went! The entire staff, particularly Deirdre Lehn, were so warm, calming, and patient, I got seen right away and had a really pleasant experience, which is very atypical for me at medical appointments! I highly recommend!

It's very important to not feel like I am being judged or dismissed when I talk about my menopausal Issues. It's very embarrassing and distressing as it is. I already feel like half a woman. Health providers really need to be extra sensitive with menopausal women and Deirdre exceeded my expectations.
