Her nursing career began in 2008, progressing from LPN to RN, then earning her BSN and ultimately her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. Her experience spans hospice, home health, inpatient medical-surgical and telemetry care, and 2–3 years as a Float Pool RN at Baptist Health Hardin. As a provider, she has cared for patients in primary care, urgent care, and telehealth settings — giving her a well-rounded approach to both chronic and acute healthcare needs. Delana is the owner and operator of a woman-owned primary and acute care rural health clinic serving Lebanon, Kentucky. Her care philosophy is simple: “Quality of life matters just as much as quantity of life” — and “if it’s important to the patient, it’s important to me.” This belief guides her clinic’s mission of “Putting the ‘Care’ in Healthcare”, a value shared by the entire team. She lives in Elizabethtown, Kentucky with her husband, Chris, a 26-year United States Army veteran and emergency department nurse. They are proud parents of four grown children and “pawrents” to two corgis, Waffles and Winifred, and a tuxedo cat named Ajax. Delana is honored to serve rural families and is committed to providing accessible, knowledgeable, and heartfelt care to every patient she meets.
