About Denise Durian

I am a strong advocate for patient education and developing a great patient-provider relationship through open dialogue. The role of a primary care provider should be to help patients find consistency with their healthcare and to help them develop a healthy lifestyle and routine. I believe behavioral health is a key component of a patient's overall well-being and is equally as important as physical health. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, I worked the majority of my nursing care in the emergency department. I earned my Associate’s degree from Peninsula College, my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and completed my Master’s in Family Nursing at Gonzaga University. When I am not working, you can find me hiking in the Olympic Mountains or dining at one of my favorite restaurants as I spend equal time between Washington State and Texas.
