Getting to know Dr. Denise Jakob

Welcome! It takes courage to ask for help and support, so if you are here now, I congratulate you for taking this first big step. The idea of therapy can be scary, but if you think of it as a safe place to share life's challenges and receive support, it may help ease some of that fear and trepidation. My intention and goal are to offer support so that we can work through any conflicts together and move toward more inner peace. I look forward to hearing from you. I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years of experience, currently based in Pennsylvania. I earned my PsyD in Psychology from John F. Kennedy University. It is my privilege and honor to support clients who are struggling with life's challenges such as anxiety, depression, childhood abuse, abandonment issues, life transitions, chronic illness, and especially those who have experienced trauma and grief. I also provide support for those impacted by a sudden violent death, particularly mothers who have lost a child due to violence.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
