The healing journey is deeply personal, and I believe it deserves compassionate, supportive care every step of the way. As a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with a strong foundation in emergency medicine, I bring a holistic perspective to care that recognizes the close connection between physical and mental health. Years of experience in high-acuity environments helped me
understand how often individuals in crisis go without consistent mental health support. It was in these settings that I discovered my true passion for working with patients facing psychiatric challenges.
My clinical approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a deep respect for each person’s unique experience. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where patients feel truly heard and empowered in their healing journey. Whether managing
anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, or more complex psychiatric conditions, I focus on treating the whole person rather than just the symptoms. My goal is to help each individual achieve greater balance, stability, and overall quality of life through compassionate, personalized care.

I had my second appointment with Denise tonight and she canceled my appointment 30 minutes prior via text message because she “forgot she had dinner plans with her parents”. If you are looking for a provider who respects your time and takes your mental health seriously, I suggest you keep looking. It’s hard to find a good provider and as someone who also reads reviews to know what I’m getting into… don’t waste your time with Denise. She won’t care about wasting yours.
