What should a new client know about working with you?
I am Licensed and Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health NP in Adult, Adolescent, and Child Psychiatry.
I am committed to getting know you, working endlessly to provide the best possible care. Utilizing evidence-based practice to ensuring safe quality care for everyone.
Now accepting Telehealth appointments. The initial visit would begin comprehensive psychiatric evaluation followed by a treatment plan recommending, prescribing, and educating about psychotropic medications personalized to everyone based on the severity of their mental health.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Simple.. every new patient receives a Psychiatric Evaluation - I create a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan and prescribe necessary medication/recommendation/further testing.
The Followup visit are generally simple as well, I can referrer patient to a higher level of care if I see that they can benefit from such a things.

Dennis made the process of getting medicated, which I desperately needed to treat my mental health issues, quick, easy and efficient, while still giving me the right treatment that fit my needs. I have a very complicated case that many doctors either do nothing to help or flat out say “it’s too much for me to handle”, as if that doesn’t make me feel even more hopeless and defeated! Like if you have a medical degree, this is your career and you can’t even do anything to try to help me, how am I supposed to live it? Well Dr. Lin was so patient, accepting of my complexities, and actually helpful. He listened well and often turned some of the negatives into a positive somehow. He helped me with an imminent issue that he made an exception for me and doctors won’t usually do to help because he truly understood that I live with extreme difficulties. I am so grateful I found him. I don’t usually like any of the hundreds of doctors I’ve had to see, but I would go out of my way to recommend him. I am only even writing this so that someone who needs help can feel confident in choosing him so they don’t have to go through what I’ve gone through. I hope this helps someone else!

Dr. Linn's demeanor was perfect for someone who struggles with anxiety like myself. He made me very comfortable--something that is very rare for me as I often feel like I am being judged by medical professionals for some of my lifestyle choices and struggles. While he did discourage unhealthy habits, he did so in such a way that was not chastizing--letting me know I need to focus on addressing some struggles, but not making me feel like a terrible person for dealing with said struggles. Addedly, he seemed to genuinely care about getting me on medication that would best support me with my mental health struggles. He did not seem overzealous to just throw me on new medication but was keen on figuring out my history so that he could make the most informed decisions.
