I was born and raised in rural Georgia. I grew up on a farm, where my appreciation for hard work and self-sufficiency was cultivated. Though I did not understand it at the time, nutrition has always been an important part of my life. Growing up on a farm, I was able to obtain nutritional balance as well as a love for veggies and fruits that I carry with me to this day. I attended my undergraduate studies at Valdosta State University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I also attended St. Louis University, earning a Bachelor's degree. Upon graduating from Valdosta State, I attended Life University in Marietta, GA, where I pursued and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics as well as a Master's degree in Sports Health Science. Upon graduating from Life University, I was immediately accepted into and completed the dietetic internship program. I have worked in a variety of nutrition settings during my career. I have worked in home health, providing diabetic education to my clients. I've worked in hospitals, offering clinical nutritional insight to admitted patients. I've worked in rehab facilities, providing nutrition guidance to residents. I've worked in dialysis centers, assisting renal patients with their nutritional needs. I've also worked in the community sector, helping lower-income families find a balance between meeting their nutritional needs without compromising their limited economic resources. My diverse experience makes me a key asset to anyone trying to navigate their health journey effectively. I've also had years of experience in the virtual health field and feel equipped to provide a virtual experience comparable to meeting clients face to face. I have a strong desire to continually improve in my field. I use that competitive energy, along with my expertise and experience, to assist my clients in the best way possible.
