Dexter has more than 16 years of dedicated experience in the medical field, including three years as a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in California. He earned his Master’s in Nursing from Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science. Throughout his career, he has cultivated a strong foundation in primary psychiatric care, including acute, inpatient, and outpatient mental health. His many years of experience have equipped him with the knowledge and skills to deliver comprehensive mental healthcare to patients of diverse backgrounds and needs. Dexter uses a combination of medication management and supportive therapy to work toward decreasing suffering and improving quality of life. During your first visit with me, I will take the time to understand your unique background, concerns, and goals. We will discuss your history, current symptoms, and any previous treatments you’ve had. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where we can develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs. His specialties include Anxiety, Depression, Sleep Disorders, and Adult Psychiatry. **Provider cannot see children/adolescents, cannot provide Talk Therapy, and cannot diagnose ADHD, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, or ODD.**
