About Dr. Dhara Patel
I chose to pursue a career in medicine at a very young age. My grandfather was diagnosed with cancer, and as I helped care for him, I was deeply moved by the compassion and dedication of the physicians and nurses who supported him. That experience showed me how powerful and important access to quality healthcare can be for every individual. My practice philosophy is simple: I strive to treat every patient the way I would want my own family members to be treated. As a family medicine physician, I have the privilege of caring for patients across all stages of life—from newborns to seniors.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is being part of each patient’s journey over time—conducting school physicals, managing adult wellness, supporting women’s health, and caring for aging grandparents. Each visit brings new stories, challenges, and connections, and I truly value the trust my patients place in me.
I have a particular interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and women’s health. I support patients in managing conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, and obesity through a comprehensive, evidence-based approach that combines lifestyle modification with appropriate medical treatment. I also enjoy working with patients on wellness goals, including weight management, smoking cessation, and stress reduction. Additionally, I provide care across all stages of life—pediatric through geriatric—with a strong focus on continuity and long-term relationships. I find it especially rewarding to guide families through every phase of life, helping them stay healthy and thrive.
I love art and have worked on glass paintings & wooden art since the age of nine years. I enjoy traveling, dancing, trying new cuisines, watching movies, and spending time with my family and friends
