About Dr. Dhruv Sarin
Dr. Dhruv Sarin is a board-certified Family Medicine physician who is now serving the downtown communities of New York City. He graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin with a Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Sarin is a caring and attentive physician dedicated to providing uncompromising medical care to his patients.
He works in conjunction with other Board Certified Physicians specializing in fields such as Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Pulmonology, Pain Management, and Diagnostic Radiology, among others. At Medical Arts clinics, all providers collaborate to deliver the highest quality care for patients.
Dr. Sarin accepts patients aged nineteen and older and is currently welcoming new patients at all downtown Medical Arts clinics. He sees patients for annual health examinations, general consultations, asthma, diabetes and cholesterol management, chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, and more. His patients receive comprehensive care for acute and chronic medical issues, as well as preventive care and disease screening.
Dr. Sarin and his staff also provide in-office Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, and Neurological screenings using a full array of General Ultrasound, Cardio, Vascular studies, Nerve Conduction Studies, and Sleep Studies, all available at Medical Arts offices. He effectively pre-evaluates patients before specialist consultations and refers them to appropriate labs and tests necessary for further evaluation.

Doctor was attentive to my health concerns and was fun to talk to! Told me to consider some things in the future without being pushy, which I really appreciated. We discussed types of bloodwork panels to run and I felt like my personal decisions were part of the conversation. Also had me do an EKG as soon as I asked for it. Really great experience and care.
Office: The receptionist was aware of my appointment, explained how to access the new patient questionnaire on my phone clearly, and helped me navigate calling my health insurance company. She was helpful and polite throughout.
My only complaint would be that the bathroom needed soap.

My overall review is 2/10 the doctor was really that attentive the office is like a circus in my opinion they do not do no blood work idk urine !! Which in my opinion defeats the whole purpose of a doctors office if I knew I wouldn’t had gone he used google to help him define things which I’ve never experienced!!?! I was expecting a smooth sailing but it just seemed like an unorganized un tamed place to have to go a few blocks down just to get your basic necessities done is weird to me.

Extremely poor bedside manner by Dr. Dhruv Sarin. He spent more time criticizing my life choices than actually delivering medical care. Very sarcastic, rude, and judgmental. Outright laughed at me when I had questions about my health. Also he is a physician who has been blocked from prescribing certain medications and he will have the audacity to make you feel crazy for needing those prescriptions when the reality is that he cannot provide them.

Doctor barely did anything. The physical was him checking my lungs for a second then recommending a bunch of tests. The wait time was longer than he saw me. It felt rushed and didn't feel like he cared at all. His vibe was a little off and didn't seem inviting or concerned about new clients. He would also make odd comments during the checkup which were annoying. He's a very strange doctor to say the least!

I needed a blood test for an upcoming surgery but figured I might as well have a physical exam done. Huge mistake going here.
The front desk staff was useless. Had me fill out all my work they could have input themselves on a crappy phone web app. It took forever. I sent over my medical information that they never sent the doctor.
The doctor rushed the physical. The room was dimly lit. Barely checked my body out at all. He just rushed to sign me up for tests that they didn’t even do there. He also looked dirty, had food in his facial hair and sounded bored and disinterested. I never had such a lazy physical exam.
I did one test there that was a broken joke. It was a brain scan that was supposed to be done in a quiet space. It was right next to a busy hallway and office with music playing and bass coming in from the outside. I was supposed to click a button for reaction but it was broken and held together with tape.
The nurse administering it knew it was bad/broken. WHY?!?!?

He ordered all the right tests without hesitation and explained everything clearly. On top of that, he’s genuinely friendly and approachable, which makes a big difference.
