About Diana Carrillo-Valle

Diana's passion for nutrition began in 2017 while attending the University of California, Davis, and it deepened in 2021 when both she and her grandfather faced health challenges related to nutrition during the pandemic, prompting her to formally pursue studies in the field. Diana believes that all people deserve nutritional care and practices with a holistic and culturally competent approach. She pursued becoming a dietitian to help teach others how to prevent and manage nutrition-related chronic disease. Diana enjoys celebrating small wins with her patients and continues to motivate them toward their bigger goals. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.S. in Nutrition in 2023 and later earned her master’s degree in Applied Nutrition from the University of Arizona in 2024. Diana enjoys traveling, learning about different cultures, and trying new foods.
