About Diane Burton
Diane Burton, MSN, FNP-BC, graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She then earned a Master of Science in Family Health Nursing from the University of Virginia. With 16 years of experience as an RN, primarily in Labor and Delivery and Neonatal ICU, Diane began her FNP career in Neurology and has since been practicing in Primary Care.
Diane believes in incorporating a holistic approach when caring for patients. Her role as a provider is to help patients achieve their health goals in the way they want. She partners with patients to individualize their care based on their personal, mental, and physiological needs and preferences. Diane strives to be proactive in her approach to patient care by emphasizing the importance of disease prevention.
In her spare time, Diane enjoys spending time with her significant other, four children, and four grandchildren. She also loves time at the beach, attending concerts, and photography.

Dr Burton was phenomenal! I am so happy to have found her as my PCP, since finding a Doctor who really listens and cares about making their patient feel as comfortable and at ease as possible seems almost non existent in the medical field these days. She’s relatable, warm, professional and a pro at what she does. I can go on and on about my great experience with Dr Burton, She’s a GEM. Staff was awesome as well!

My mother came with me to my appointment. We were in shock at how wonderful the entire experience was. For starters… My nurse Alicia… She is so caring and on top of things. She went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable and taken care of. It’s obvious that she genuinely cares. The nurse practitioner Rebekah was great also! My doctor Diane Burton was awesome. She payed attention to all of the things I mentioned in the paperwork I filled out before coming in. And also everything I said when I was there. I was able to be open and honest with her and she expressed her appreciation for my honesty. I can’t express enough how amazing they are. They love what they do and it shows. I am truly still in shock at how wonderful the whole experience was.
