Getting to know Diane Cammarata

Hello, I'm Diane Cammarata, an Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has been providing Medication Management for psychiatric symptoms for almost 23 years. I practiced in the DFW, TX area for 15 years before relocating back to the Boston area in December 2018. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Boston in 1993 and my Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in 2002. From February 2019 to August 2023, I worked at Tufts Medical Center Community Counseling in Medford, MA. My background includes medication management for patients with psychiatric disorders as well as those with chronic pain issues, migraine, and traumatic brain injury, though I no longer provide pain management. I have been a speaker for pharmaceutical companies and offer Psychiatric Consultant Services for attorneys, skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, and families needing assistance in understanding the care and treatment of their loved ones with mental health issues and sorting out their needs. I enjoy spending time in nature, with family and friends, cooking and eating great food, and being by the ocean.

In-network insurances

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Diane is a gem. She radiates genuine care and kindness, and it made being vulnerable when asking for help so much less painful. I'm not sure where I'd be without Diane's support. I am forever grateful for her help and guidance in my life!
