Diane Esposito, PhD, APRN, PMHCNS-BC, graduated from Bloomsburg University with a BSN in Nursing in 1987, earned her MSN in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Adelphi University in 1996, and completed her PhD in Nursing at Barry University in 2013. She has worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in the State of Florida since 1998 and is ANCC Board Certified as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Dr. Esposito served as Education Council Chair of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA), a professional nursing association of over 13,000 members. In 2018, she received the Florida Psychiatric Nurse of the Year award, and in 2019, the Excellence in Education award. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the APNA Florida Chapter, as well as for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Palm Beach. Dr. Esposito has presented nationally on Trauma and Recovery, Mental Health Needs for Athletes, and topics related to Addiction. She incorporates a holistic approach in caring for her clients’ mind, body, and spirit, has completed training in Christian counseling, and has served in spiritual healing ministry. Dr. Esposito currently serves as full-time faculty in the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program at Palm Beach Atlantic University.
