About Dr. Dianne Davis
DiAnne S. Davis, MD, FAAD is a board-certified fellowship-trained cosmetic dermatologist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She also obtained a Master of Science degree in Cell & Molecular Biology from Tulane University. She then received her Doctor of Medicine degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences along with the Walter F. Rosen Award for Outstanding Student in Dermatology.
Dr. Davis completed an internal medicine internship and dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center where she served as chief resident. While in residency Dr. Davis was influential in coordinating the first Skin of Color Symposium helping to promote awareness of the unique features of skin of color from both a medical and cosmetic dermatologic viewpoint.
Following residency, Dr. Davis graduated from an American Society of Dermatologic Surgery accredited cosmetic dermatology fellowship program under the directorship of Mark B. Taylor, MD at the Gateway Aesthetic Institute & Laser Center in Salt Lake City, UT.
Dr. Davis has authored several journal articles and textbook chapters, and has presented her work at local, regional, and national meetings. She is also the Co- Founder of Sunblock Kids which helps to bring awareness about the importance of sun protection at an early age.
Dr. Davis believes in a collaborative approach when it comes to helping her patients’ look and feel their best. Considering the aesthetic goals her patients want to achieve, Dr. Davis creates a comprehensive treatment plan utilizing advanced technology through the viewpoint of an artist (as a classically trained ballet dancer).
Her interests outside of medicine include yoga and dancing, and she was previously a NFL cheerleader for the New Orleans Saints football team. She enjoys international travel, trying new cuisines, and spending time with her family.

There was a misunderstanding with my bill which was partly my fault because I initially agreed to a procedure but then changed my mind due to wanting to verify FSA eligibility but I was still charged for it & paid thinking it was for the cost of my visit which I clearly asked the person who was checking me out before I made the payment. It was later refunded after my Wife called back to clarify that I was charged in error. Aside from the billing mishap, Dr Davis was amazing in every way. I could tell she was knowledgeable & experienced. Great bedside manner & personality as well. She gets a 5 star review as a provider.

They sent multiple reminders back to back, along with automated phone calls prior to my appointment which was kind of tedious and annoying. Besides that, the only other thing that needs improvement is the providers bed side manner. After being called back and placed in my room, I had to wait an additional 15 or so minutes. Once the provider greeted me she was friendly but the visit was extremely rushed and only lasted like 5-10 mins. Be aware that if you go there for your annual skin screening you will not be able to address other concerns and will need to book a separate visit which is fair but at the same time I can’t keep taking off work like that so it would have been nice to address other concerns while I was already there.

I can't say enough good things about this practice. Great very clean and inviting environment. Doctor and staff are excellent. I was so looking forward to my appointment with Dr Davis, but when I arrived the front desk lady told me my appointment had been canceled and they couldn’t see me that day. I would have to reschedule for a different date. No explanation as to why or how my appointment was canceled. All along, I am getting text reminders on my phone about this appointment, which I showed her but the front desk lady insisted she does not see it on her end. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Like many, I had to take time off of work for this appointment just to have my time wasted. To me this is an inconvenience and a waste of time, but for them is not even a second thought. “Too bad, so sad, go ahead and reschedule for another day”. Why would I do that so I can show up again next time and be told my appointment was “mysteriously” canceled? I’m sure Dr Davis is great, but I wouldn’t know as I didn’t get to meet her.

Dr. Davis and her nurse both listened to me and the whole history of my issue, and the nurse took plenty of notes, asked for any past pictures that I had, and took pictures that day as well. We talked about not just treatment, but things that I could do differently in my routine to help with my condition as well. I have a follow-up scheduled for 6 weeks, which I appreciate as I wasn’t just prescribed medicine and told to go away. Dr. Davis wants to make sure that we have chosen a good course of action for treatment and adjust if needed. She also encouraged me to reach out before my next visit if needed. I would definitely recommend Dr. Davis.

I’ve visited Dr. DiAnne Davis twice, and unfortunately, both experiences were equally disappointing. Each consultation felt rushed and impersonal, leaving me feeling unheard and undervalued as a patient. Her approach to dermatology is overwhelmingly prescription-heavy, with little to no consideration for underlying health factors.
Despite repeatedly expressing concerns that my acne may be linked to internal health—such as gut or hormonal imbalances—she never asked a single question or showed any interest in exploring the root cause. Instead, she immediately pushed prescriptions without discussing alternatives or potential side effects.
If you’re looking for a dermatologist who takes the time to listen and considers a more holistic approach, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The place was nice The staff seemed welcoming, but unfortunately, I waited for more than 30 minutes, and the doctor made it seem like it was not a big deal and I should schedule myself early in the morning not to have to wait so long. No one should wait that long to see a doctor or the staff should have booked the schedule for patients to come at least 30 minutes later. The doctor explained she had a procedure prior. As I told her I was not upset but due to having to wait and having another pertinent appointment I was leaving as she was coming in.
