About Dianne Duncan
Dianne Duncan, LAC is an acupuncturist treating patients in the Austin and greater Texas areas for 20 years. She holds a license for acupuncture from the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners, as well as national certification in Oriental Medicine. She is also, board certified in Auriculotherapy. Her experience as a systems analyst and project manager allows her to bring a strong discipline to her practice, ensuring only material and supplements certified for safety, purity, and potency are used in her professional apothecary. In order to pursue her medical education, she attended the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin. Having completed her master’s degree, she attended Breyer State University, where she earned a doctoral degree in naturopathic medicine. She is a member of professional organizations including the American Association of Oriental Medicine and the Texas Association of Acupuncture. Areas in which Dianne Duncan has received training in addition to acupuncture and Chinese herbs include functional medicine, including immunology, endocrinology and neurology, and nutrition.

They have a plan for you before you arrive, which has it's positives and it's negatives.
They were friendly, and I very much loved the acupuncture practice they used! I'd definitely try again!
But I didn't really feel heard when sharing my concerns and was rushed, since the time they allotted was more about listening to their plan, than for me to share about my specific issues.
From what was shared, I know that it's not exactly "a one size fits all," process, but I did kind of feel treated that way.

Dianne has been my saving grace! After seeking answers for years from Western doctors, I was totally fed up. I had gone to a self-proclaimed "functional" doctor and all he did was load me up on unnecessary hormones. Dianne *listened* to me and then listened some more. I feel so secure and confident in her given the time that she offered to listen to me and actually look at my labs. I am so relieved and happy to have found Dianne!!

Dianne is amazing! I've been going to her for acupuncture for many years & there's nobody else as good as her... she has a plethora of knowledge and always provides excellent care & health advice.
I broke my neck in 2 places years ago and have arthritic pain and tennis elbow that often flares up & the treatment she provides keeps me feeling good and the pain threshold to a minimum. I highly recommend Dianne!
