Hello! I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner licensed in California and Florida. I earned my Master's in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from West Coast University in California. Over the past five years, I have dedicated my expertise to the mental health unit at a county hospital in Los Angeles. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with patients facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including severe depression, anxiety, psychosis, addiction, anger management, and issues related to violence.

It would have been nice for the doctor to verify my insurance before our first session. I was told after the fact that my insurance is out of network so now I’m looking at a hefty bill. The appointment was scheduled almost 2 months in advance.

Dr Diep Dinh did not listen very well. She appeared hostile the entire time and continuously tried to correct me about my experience with the meds I had been taking for years. I ended the appointment 20 min in after realizing that I did not want her as my doctor as the intake was stressing me. I've never ended an intake early. She tried to argue with me about that as well which made me want to end the call even faster.

Horrible doctor, doesn’t take the time to listen. Tells you to calm down if you start to cry from trauma. If you’ve been sexually abused- she made me feel horrible and not even cared about. I came out feeling more depressed and anxious than I started. Would not recommend.

I am so happy to find Dr Diep. She is so helpful . She knows how to listen to patient's problem. She is friendly and very understandable person . Dr Diep shows great caring to help with my problem, not just give me the medication , instructed how to use it but very careful instruct me to keep tract on the results so she can do any adjustment if needed. She also willing to involve to provide any document I needed to provide my school about my mental heath problem which is big deal to me since those corrected verification help my school to determine my school results which impacted my financial aid status. I am so grateful with the help of Dr Diep. I am on my regular visit Dr now. I have no problem at all about my insurance to cover for my visit and treatment. I also send my adult child to Dr Diep for help with her mental health. I know the treatment will take time but I have experienced and I believed Dr Diep will bring myself and my child the help we needed. Highly recommended!

She also encouraged me to reach out when have questions about my medication or any issues that arise. This is my first time trying medication and she helped me feel less anxious about starting.

In my last visit with her, it was surprisingly great. She's super polite and takes the time to really hear me out. It's not like those rushed appointments you sometimes get. Instead, she creates this chill space where I can open up. She gets what's going on, and her advice feels spot-on. Walking out of there, I felt way more at ease about my mental health. It's like talking to a friend who also happens to be a pro at this mental health stuff.
