About Dimitri Gitelmaker
Dr. Dimitri Gitelmaker was inspired to help people like his grandfather by overcoming barriers he saw to getting great medical care. His goal is to help his patients live longer and more fulfilling lives. He specializes in internal medicine, obesity medicine, nutrition, and preventive medicine.
Dr. Gitelmaker earned his Doctor of Medicine from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Boston University, followed by fellowships in preventive medicine and nutrition at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital / Columbia University Medical Center, and in obesity medicine at Harvard University.
When not caring for patients, Dr. Gitelmaker enjoys staying fit, playing tennis and chess, and spending time with his newborn baby girl. He is fluent in Russian and speaks medical Spanish.

I did not receive a phone call saying that my appointment was ready for the following day and no instructions on where to park before you attend. I would recommend the doctor to anyone that needs to lose weight and that's pretty much it.
