About Dr. Dingchao He
Dingchao He, MD, is a board-certified thoracic vascular surgeon with almost three decades of medical experience in the USA and China. His clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins and also includes surgical treatment of congenital cardiovascular malformations and arrhythmias. Dr. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and medical degree from Xi'an Medical University in Xi'an, China. He completed his doctoral work at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. After serving as an attending surgeon and associate professor in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the First Teaching Hospital of Xi'an Medical University, Dr. He pursued a post-doctorate in Pharmacology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac and Vascular Surgery at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he subsequently served as a Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgeon until joining USA Vein Clinics in 2015. An avid writer and researcher, his work has been published in 37 medical and scientific journals, including the Journal of Cardiac Surgery. Dr. He was recognized in 2014 by the American College of Cardiology for his research abstract. In addition to being fluent in both English and Mandarin, Dr. He is a member of the American College of Phlebology and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
