Hi, I'm Dinna, a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who has spent 6 years helping adults across Massachusetts find medication that fits their lives.
Many people I work with are dealing with anxiety, depression, ADHD, or bipolar disorder. Some are considering medication for the first time. Others have tried a few and are tired of side effects or results that never quite landed. Either way, you'll be part of every decision.
I'll explain your options in plain language, we'll move at a pace that feels right, and we'll adjust together. All visits are virtual, so you can meet from home or on a lunch break.
What should a new client know about working with you?
What you can expect from me straight answers about how a medication works, what side effects to watch for, and how long before you might notice a change.
Room to ask anything, including the questions that feel awkward. And a little humor along the way, because care can be serious without feeling clinical.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Our first visit is a 60-minute evaluation. We'll talk about what's brought you in, your history with symptoms and past medications, and what you want to feel different. You'll leave with a clear plan, which may or may not include medication.
Follow-ups are 20–30 minutes, usually every 2–4 weeks while we find the right fit, and less often once you're feeling steady. If you already see a therapist, I'm glad to coordinate with them.
