The office is clean & nice. Front desk was efficient. Nurse was not friendly, compassionate, or professional. She yelled out in the pre exam area with other patients around , “your blood pressure is sky high!!!” Not to mention unnerving it violated my patient privacy rights.
Dr Patel struggles with positive bed side manner. This is the second time I tried her since I thought maybe she or I was having a bad day the first time. Unfortunately it was the same. She didn’t have my lab results & then I informed her I did have blood work done she didn’t bother printing it out to go over with me. Instead showed me her screen which I could barely see and quickly gave me her interpretation. I had to ask several times what certain numbers were or what they meant. She had no time for questions or concerns. In the end I spent 15 mins in the parking lot googling things on the lab results. My husband goes to the same practice and his dr had his results printed out and went over thoroughly with him.

Doctor was rushed, not asking questions about my personal habits and lifestyle and seemed keen on wanting to prescribe me medication right away. Seemed irritated when I asked questions about effects of medication. Was not clear on other treatment options or willing to give me specifics of each option. Kept walking in and out of the room to talk to her assistant.

Listened well. Gave me orders for blood work but will have to wait until covid 19 is over. Not taking any risks at age 71. Will follow up as soon as restrictions are lifted with blood work and return visit.
