About Dr. Dipesh Bhakta
I aim to promote how to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle. My approach is to use a whole-body perspective to understand and ultimately optimize well-being of body and mind. I strive to provide clinical advice and guidance that is evidence-based and integrative across various disciplines to help patients reach their health goals, with an emphasis on natural healing and a thorough understanding of the benefits and risks of treatments and therapies. I am particularly passionate about fitness, nutrition, sports/physical medicine, and integrative medicine. Originally from LA, I have had the pleasure of working at some of the finest medical institutions across our country, namely UCLA, Westchester Medical Center, NYU, UCSF, Kaiser Permanente, and now One Medical. I currently call the Long Beach/OC area home with my beautiful wife and daughter.
I believe a healthy lifestyle begins with prioritizing oneself with an appropriate balance of work and play. In particular, I have personal interests in yoga and meditation, eating and occasionally cooking delicious foods, traveling to explore new cultures and experiences, and creating lasting memories with family and friends.

I was thankful to be able to see a dr so quickly but I went in for very very extreme pain for a slipped disk or massive pinched nerve from a bad fall in my neck that is so bad I’m almost suicidal because of the pain. I’m in severe pain right this minute. I just needed some relief. I’m seeing a specialist tomorrow, but I don’t know if I can make it through the night I might go to the emergency room tonight because I need something strong. He gave me hgabapentin, which seems to work a little , I’ve taken so much, Motrin Tylenol, Aleve I don’t give a damn I’m in serious pain. I’ve made that point to the doctor and he just prescribed me a smaller dosage of gabapentin. I’m having hard problems right now. I might go to the emergency room tonight. I don’t know about this Dr he did I asked him for something stronger he didn’t care felt like. He didn’t ask me how strong the pain was on a scale either and it’s a 20 out of one to 10.
It’s up to you if you want to go see the doctor, but for my reason I wouldn’t do it have an appointment tomorrow back at them for bloodwork, but I don’t know if I’ll be able to make it in. I’m in so much pain and then I go see my specialist neurosurgeon. I’m about ready to pull my hair out not cool.
And he only could see me for 20 minutes and he kept counting down the time while I was in there, stressing me out didn’t wanna hear about any other problems. I had just the neck. Issue that’s causing my arm to be totally numb pins and needles like somebody’s hitting it with a baseball bat my left arm is starting to go bad as well. I could barely make it home because of the pain But didn’t do anything for me except for give me a lower dose of medicine I already had
I don’t know what kind of doctor this was, but I’m not really happy right now The pain is so bad because of the pain I’m sorry for being so dramatic, but this is serious thevstaff was kind and I got to see him right away, but it was a waste of time I feel I need to be really
