You’ll have the opportunity to explain what’s been going on without feeling rushed or dismissed. I take your concerns seriously and work with you to develop a treatment plan that fits your symptoms, goals, and preferences. When medication is appropriate, we’ll discuss the options, expected benefits, and potential side effects so you can make informed decisions about your care.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
We’ll start with a comprehensive evaluation of your symptoms, history, current challenges, and treatment goals. From there, we’ll create a personalized plan and meet regularly to track your progress. Treatment can be adjusted as your needs change, with the goal of helping you feel better and function better in everyday life.

I'm going to continue to see this NP for now because I mainly need medication management but he had a very cold demeanor and the way he challenged the medications I'm taking made it seem like I was either making up my symptoms or exaggerating the effectiveness of what I've taken for many years. Again it wasn't anything that would make me not do a follow-up appointment but I found the bedside manner and attitude toward me a bit off-putting.
