The first visit is a comprehensive evaluation to understand your symptoms and history. From there, a personalized plan is developed, with medications used carefully and adjusted over time, with ongoing monitoring to ensure safety and effectiveness.

I'm going to continue to see this NP for now because I mainly need medication management but he had a very cold demeanor and the way he challenged the medications I'm taking made it seem like I was either making up my symptoms or exaggerating the effectiveness of what I've taken for many years. Again it wasn't anything that would make me not do a follow-up appointment but I found the bedside manner and attitude toward me a bit off-putting.
