“I couldn't have had a more positive experience with Dr. Mallam. Number one, I was seen immediately. Two, I was so nervous going into my appointment and she immediately put me at ease. Not only was she an incredible listener from a clinical standpoint, but she also took the time to get to know me as a person. Often times in doctor's offices now, I feel rushed and that was never the case here. In fact, they even did my blood work and labs on the spot, which was not scheduled as part of my appointment. Tiesha, my nurse and front desk person was so friendly and just made the overall experience way better than I was expecting. I wish all of my doctor's appointments went like this.”

Amazing doctor all the way! I highly recommend her.
Honestly horrible experience, I was sick and in pain for over 6 months and after no clear diagnosis and thousands of dollars spent on testing I was prescribed a slew of medications of a whim and then told to schedule a follow up in 3-4 weeks. Lastly I was told maybe you should just get a second opinion. I got a second opinion and was immediately treated and diagnosed within a week. There was no sense of empathy for the pain that I was in and I did not feel like I was being heard or cared for properly.

I’m really glad I chose Dr. Mallam. She listened to all of my concerns and took the time to explain the next steps clearly. I never felt rushed and felt comfortable asking questions. The front desk staff were also kind and efficient. After filling out paperwork, I was seen right away and the whole visit felt smooth and well organized. Definitely a positive experience!
The nurse's altitude is beyond. She apparently hates the job so much. I was told to show up any day for my blood work. When I showed up, I was told by the nurse that I'm not on the schedule and I shouldn't be there. The doctor is nice but the overall experience is ruined by the nurse.

Working with Dr. Mallam was so wonderful! I was having some trouble after doing an egg freezing cycle and she really listened to what I was going through, created a plan, and made me feel so supported the whole way. She made a very stressful time (while my hormones were crazy) a lot more manageable for me.

Dr. Mallam was extremely attentive and caring during my visit. She actively listened as I shared my concerns and took her time when explaining my treatment plan and next steps. I felt seen and heard and was extremely happy with the care she provided.

I would definitely come back. Doctor Mallam was extremely nice, took the time to hear me, explained the differences between what I was feeling and what I could be experiencing. She came up with a plan for me to follow and I’ll be back in the next few weeks. Her assistant was also extremely helpful, patient and explained everything before doing it. Everyone in this office was really great.

Dr. Divya Mallam is incredible. She listens, takes her time, and explains everything clearly and calmly. I felt completely cared for and supported. The front desk and nursing staff were also so kind and helpful — the whole office is exceptional. One of the best doctor visits I’ve had in 47 years!

Great Experience! Dr. Mallam listened to everything I had to say, and proposed a very clear plan and procedure to follow up. Absolutely recommend!!!
Video visit
She called me "darling" and got annoyed when I did not have a script prepared. I was trying to remember everything from these past few months and after describing one instance, she stated "Are there any other symptoms? So we don't have to go through more situations and have another one just pop up suddenly?". She was rushing and clearly had her own script: "now that we are nearing the end of the appointment", "now that we are in the middle of the appointment". She explained easy to understand principles and then talked down to me: "does that make sense to you darling?". She was uncomfortable giving a physical exam; don't become a gastro doctor if you aren't prepared to do exams involving people's gastrointestinal tract. She did not give any advice on if a colonoscopy was a good idea and said it was up to me over and over again. I could have gotten the exact same experience from asking Google. Probably a better one because I would not have felt like someone was talking down on me.
Divya was wonderful! She sat and listened to everything I had to say and offered great advice. It's so rare to have a doctor give you enough time to where you feel truly listened to.

The doctor is amazing, she is absolutely wonderful and kind, listens and takes notes of every detail. Recommendations were helpful. However waiting time was around 40 min after my appointment time.
Verified patient
Absolutely wonderful doctor, she listened and took my concerns seriously. I left with peace of mind and am so grateful to her and her wonderful team!

This is the nicest, friendliest doctor’s office I’ve ever been to and Dr Divya is probably the sweetest doctor in New York. She’s very friendly and personable and made a really uncomfortable situation much less stressful. She explains things clearly and simply. You’re gonna wish she was your PCP. The whole place is pretty and every single person there is great.
