Dr. Patel was born and raised in northern NJ, where she completed her undergraduate studies at Rutgers University, continuing on to Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Temple University, finishing her training with her child psychiatry fellowship at Mt. Sinai. Dr. Patel treats most conditions, offering psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychotherapy, and parent guidance. She also has experience with group therapy, working with teenagers with anxiety and social skills challenges. Dr. Patel treats children, adolescents, and adults, with expertise in working with patients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, OCD, and behavioral issues. ??In-line with our practice values, Dr. Patel takes a holistic view of her patients, attempting to understand the underlying social-emotional underpinnings of their symptoms and to treat the entire person, whether providing medication alone or a combination of psychotherapy with medication.

We are an out-of-network practice and do not accept insurance directly. Patients pay privately at the time of service, and we provide superbills for insurance reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. Most patients receive 60-80% back. Our rates are as follows: 4 part child evaluation: $550 per session 3 part adult evaluation: $550 per session 45 minute psychotherapy follow up: $550 30 minute psychotherapy follow up: $450
