Qualifications and Experience
My goal is to minimize symptoms associated with the pain the patient is experiencing and return the person to as much functionality as their individuality allows. You can avoid unnecessary spinal surgery or knee replacement. Treatment include epidural steroid injections, sympathetic nerve blocks, peripheral nerve blocks, trigger point injections, radio-frequency thermal ablation, spinal cord stimulation, discograms, IDET (Intradiscal Electrothermal Therapy), diagnostic/therapeutic selective nerve blocks, facet joint blocks.

Very unprofessional office. Dr. has inadequate bedside manner. Doesn't recall from one visit to another what condition he is treating. Avoid if you can.
No me sirvió para nada no yeno mis expertativas
The entire staff in this office is cold and insensitive, especially Dr. Petrychenko. His bedside manner is awful. He lacks attentiveness to "the patient". He's running from one treatment room to another, and does not take the time to sit with "the patient" and discuss their concerns. Dr. Petrychenko tends to minimize medical diagnoses, although the patient is the one who is experiencing the "pain". I have no intentions of returning to this office for treatment, because in addition to the above, the staff is highly unprofessional, incompetent, and unapproachable. One of the office staff members even told me that I did not NEED to know which medications the doctor was sending prescriptions to my pharmacy for!??!?!??! Really????? Since when does a patient not have the right to know what is being prescribed for them on each office visit, if such a request is made??? This office and doctor SUCKS!!! Note: I handed in a medical form from the University of the State of New York - State Education Department, to be filled out by my treating pain management doctor on my FIRST visit to this office in June 2016, and the form was not filled out and/or returned to me until September 29, 2016. It was just left sitting in my medical record. When it was returned to me, it was incorrectly filled out, and was NOT filled out by the DOCTOR that is treating me. That it why it was filled out incorrectly in the first place. Because he had someone else do it, when he is the attending doctor.
Phenomenon bedside manner, easy to talk to, FANTASTIC at his job. I am EXTREMELY satisfied with this Dr. It has taken me a very long time to find a Dr that is compassionate and understands my condition - I am thrilled that I found this Dr.
The office was very busy and populated, however the stuff treated everybody with care, professionalism and respect. I always get early to all my appointments, and prefer to read book while in the waiting room(s), so the waiting time is really relative.
Dr was over an hour late so all appointments were pushed back at least an hour. When I called to confirm my appointment (Since it was my first), I asked what to bring...I was told Insurance Card and Photo ID. Turns out that I needed MUCH more documents/documentation. Had I known, I would have brought LOADS of documents. I will have to fax a ton of paperwork tomorrow.
I felt taken care of and both the Doctor and his team were professional, atentive and friendly.
He's always very helpful and understanding.
He was knowledgeable he immediately told me me what was wrong and did an xray to confirm. He immediately treated my knee it was painless and the next day I started to feel better
On march 8 I went to see this Doctor to get an epidural injection. He never explain anything to me about the procedure. Atfter getting the injection he told me to get up. I was supposed to wait some minutes before leaving. I was feeling dizzy and without balance.I almost felt down. Lastly, he gave me a prescription without checking my records where I told the nurse that I am allergy to aspirine. He gave a medication that gave me an allergy reaction that five days later I am still sick. I will never go back to so called Doctor.
