Dmitry E. Primak, M.D. is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and has been practicing psychiatry since 1973 after graduation from Zaporozhye Medical University, Ukraine.
Dr. Primak has completed psychiatry residency training at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY and has extensive experience in treatment of variety of conditions, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, chemical addiction, and other psychological disorders.
For the past 18 years Dr. D. Primak worked as Chief of Addiction services, Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry of Ross University School of Medicine, an attending psychiatrist of Dual Diagnosis Unit of one of the largest psychiatric hospitals in New Jersey and has been treating patients in his private practice office, prior to relocation to California to be closer to his children and grand children.
