What should a new client know about working with you?

With my experience in both family health and mental health care, I offer services that go beyond just prescribing medication. Through comprehensive evaluations and assessments, we will work together to ensure that your treatment plan is customized to fit your specific needs and goals. My virtual care platform allows you to access professional mental health services from the comfort of your own home, giving you the convenience and flexibility to fit treatment into your busy schedule. Medication management is a cornerstone of my practice, but I also understand that medications are only one piece of the puzzle. That’s why I offer referral assistance to connect you with additional resources, like therapy or specialized support, that may enhance your healing journey. If you’re seeking the benefits of an emotional support animal, I may be able to provide assistance with this as well, if an emotional support animal would enhance your mental well-being. I do not use a lot of controlled substances and do not prescribe these on the first visit. If you have a history, that includes the use of this type of medication I will need to verify history, prior prescriptions, and the need to continue these medications. This may involve additional testing, through an outside provider or agency, when treating for adult ADHD.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I start by discussing the client's reason for contacting me. I believe it is important to know what they are looking for and their expectations of care. I treat each person as an individual and try to optimize care to their specific needs, other conditions, and past experiences in care.
