I am a psychiatrist specializing in adult psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry with experience providing psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, and medication management for children, adolescents, and adults. My clinical interests include anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, mood disorders, neurodevelopmental conditions, and collaborative family-centered care. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wake Forest University. I then earned my medical degree from Wake Forest School of Medicine. I completed my general psychiatry residency training at East Tennessee State University (ETSU), followed by fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. During fellowship, I also worked with children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities through the Kennedy Krieger Institute. Throughout my training, I gained experience across outpatient, inpatient, consultation-liaison, emergency, and school-based settings. I have worked closely with multidisciplinary teams including psychologists, pediatricians, therapists, neurologists, school staff, and social workers to provide comprehensive care to children and families. My approach emphasizes thoughtful diagnostic assessment, evidence-based treatment, and strong collaboration with families. I strive to create a warm, supportive environment where patients feel heard, understood, and actively involved in their treatment planning. In 2026, I joined Annapolis Psychiatry, where I continue providing outpatient psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and adults.
