About Donna Thompson

Donna Thompson, APN, FNP-BC is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Dermatology and Skincare Arts in late 2022. Donna began her career as a registered nurse in 1996. She received a bachelor’s degree from the College Of Saint Elizabeth. As a Registered Nurse she had both inpatient experience in women’s health, newborn health, and outpatient experience in dermatology. She then went on to obtain her Masters Degree in Nursing at Rutgers University in 2014. Donna is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She believes in always furthering her education by attending medical conferences so that she may utilize the most up to date research in her clinical practice. She is known for listening to her patients and establishing a strong patient/ provider relationship. She likes to give back and has mentored and precepted nurse practitioner students from Georgetown, St. Peter’s and Felician Universities. Donna has also served as an adjunct professor at the College of Saint Elizabeth. She is a member of the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. As a nurse practitioner she has practiced for more than eight years in both internal medicine and dermatology. Donna has worked alongside some of the area’s top dermatologists. In her personal time Donna enjoys spending time with her large family. She has a love for the outdoors, music and traveling. We are excited to have Donna join us at Dermatology & Skincare Arts. She will be an excellent addition to our collaborative, professional and compassionate team.
