What should a new client know about working with you?

1. Transparency. The provider must always educate the patient about the risks and benefits of treatment. 2. Active Listening. Patients wants a doctor who listens to them as they describe their health issues. The provider will actively listen to the patient without interruptions or making them feel rushed 3. Care, compassion, and respect. This is the most important of patient treatment. The provider will will connect with the patient with compassion and dignity as well as respect their cultural beliefs.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I spend about an hour for initial psychiatric evaluation and 30-45 minutes for a follow up visit.
