Dorian Gomez is an engaged and considerate pulmonologist and critical care specialist serving the community of Rock Hill, NY. Dr. Gomez attended the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine, where she received her medical degree, and completed her internship and residency at Cabrini Medical Center.
Dr. Gomez is a part of Crystal Run Healthcare and is board certified in internal medicine, critical care medicine, sleep medicine, and in pulmonary disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Because Dr. Gomez is bilingual in English and Spanish, patients from a variety of backgrounds enjoy having her as their physician. Dr. Gomez’s medical experience is vast and impressive. The Dr cared about my symptoms and was clear on what type of medication she prescribed. She explained in detail what she was trying to achieve with the treatment and offered her office staff as support at any time I need to speak to someone or send a message through the portal. She also said to call my insurance and make sure that the prescription was covered. If it wasn’t, to call her office and she will see if she can find another treatment that will be covered by my insurance. Overall, good positive experience.

Dr. Gomez showed up 25 minutes late to an appointment that was only supposed to last 30 minutes. Surveys filled out prior to the appointment were not reviewed and were read on the in the middle of the visit. Post consultation I recieved a call that my sleep study was canceled due to no notes being submitted by my doctor. Absolutely unacceptable

I would not recommend this doctor because she cancelled 4 appts in a row within 2 months and i have a new diagnosis and put me meds and has not check to see if the meds worked.

Dr. Gomez is compassionate and caring. She is aware that I prefer natural/alternative approaches in reclaiming my health, and she is willing to work with me. However, she gently pushes back when she needs me to accept her treatment plan by providing education/information/outcomes and consequences. This all takes time, and she is willing to commit to spending time with the client.

Dr Gomez is very knowledgeable and approachable. She took time to listen to my questions, and used her laptop to educate me about my concerns. She ordered some(unscheduled) diagnostic testing, which was done in house by her staff, which saved me another trip to her facility.

Today I am the first patient scheduled for 10:30 am. Usually the wait time is over 1 hour. But she is worth the wait she keeps my asthma manageable even when in acts up repeatedly in allergy season and requires multiple medication adjustments. She is thorough and takes her time with her patients and uses the computerized medical record way to make adjustments changes and treat medical concerns as they arise. I had to switch my other doctors out of this practice due to wait times being a number inconsistency, but not her.
