More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

While she was nice, she wasn’t very informative and she seemed unfocused and asked questions that I had already answered earlier during the appointment. She also didn’t discuss side effects of medications well and it undermined my confidence in the medication choices, which I was not invited to be a part of. It wasn’t very team-oriented.

Doris was rude and unhelpful. She accused me of doctor shopping several times during my appointment based on nothing. She felt it was problematic that I am taking 5 anti-depressants but I take them for their sleep and ADHD benefits. I think I am on too much medication, too, but I have been for a long time and it has worked. She wanted to take seven weeks to wane me off of Trazodone. I have only been on that medication for two weeks. She wanted me to wane off Mirtzapine over 3 weeks. Sure, you can write a perscription for 7.5 MGs but that is not a theroputic dose. You usually start someone with 15 MG. A doctor has tried to wane me off of it before, but I did not take to wane off well, so we stopped, but it was a one week wane off. I have been waned off trazodone before with no wane off period. She seemed to indicate that she did not want to treat me when she said she was not "comfortable" with perscribing Seroquel until 7 weeks later when I had waned off both medications. Out of #s.
