He completed medical school at Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School in 2011 and finished both General Psychiatric Residency as well as Child & Adolescent Fellowship at the University of South Dakota. Dr. Hess is dedicated to teaching residents and medical students. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at both University of North Dakota and University of South Dakota.
