What is your typical process for working with clients?
In a typical session, I start by creating a welcoming and non-judgmental environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns. My process begins with a comprehensive assessment to fully understand each client’s mental, physical, and emotional well-being. During our initial session, I focus on gathering a detailed history, including current symptoms, past medical and psychiatric history, and relevant social and family dynamics.
From there, we collaboratively establish a tailored treatment plan that may involve medication management, supportive therapy, and other integrative approaches to address the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I believe in a team-based approach, which means I will also coordinate care with other healthcare providers and involve family members when appropriate to ensure a cohesive and effective plan. Each follow-up session is structured to assess progress, refine treatment strategies, and provide supportive therapy to help clients achieve their mental health goals.

Very attentive to the symptoms that we discussed, and clearly able to assess and provide validation of diagnoses as well as a thorough plan of care and treatment recommendations. My daughter really liked that he was personable and friendly and asked great questions and gave her age appropriate explanations.
